The IPv6 Expansion tool takes a compressed IPv6 address and expands it to its full 128-bit notation.
About this Tool
IPv6 increases the size of the total IP address space from the 32 bits found in IPv4 to 128 bits. This increased size allows for a broader range of addressing hierarchies and a much larger number of addressable nodes. This tool will provide the fully-notated 128-bit version of an IPv6 address. For example if your IPv6 is 2620:0:2d0:200::7, it will expand the IP to its full notation and will show the new address as being 2620:0:2d0:200:0:0:0:7
